Seeds of Life - CD

One night in early 1993, Raylius sat down at the piano and started recording with no particular thought in mind. He began with just a single note--G5. From the building up of energy within repetitions of this single note sprang the entire piece, as if evolving all the atomic and molecular structures of the universe from this one seed of energy. After developing the music more fully he realized this was the image of the Big Bang and the emergence of living organisms. He would later view his unconscious choice to start with that note G as correlating to the so-called "God particle" that gives mass to all subatomic parties and allowed the universe to form, as first explained in Leon Lederman's book The God Particle, which happened to be published at around the same time that Seeds of Life was recorded. Raylius would also later stumble across NASA "recordings" (through EMFISIS technology) of plasma in the Van Allen protective radiation belt surrounding the earth, which he had intuitively emulated years earlier in the Seeds of Life song "Primordial Soup Kitchen" (and also in "Deep Space Reverie, Part II (Wormhole)" from Outer Realms). 

The 2025 CD edition is a remastered version of the remix used for the 2020 digital platform release.
