Ever Expanding Inner Universe - CD

Recorded from '90 to '91, and later expanded with the addition of harp, violin, cello, flute, zither, guitar synthesizer, and vocals, this is the ground-breaking release that Timothy Leary praised as "Wonderful and very special music." It remains one of the most iconic albums of The Raylius Experiment's catalog.

While working with various Higher Octave artists at Wizard Studios in Santa Barbara in '88 and '89, Raylius began creating music that would emulate the sounds of nature (both internal and external) while meditating outside at night. This became the "Song of the Angels," which developed into two separate versions. Then, living in Sonoma in 1990, he helped his friend Peter Palasota write out the melodies Peter had heard in two separate dreams and then built upon those seed ideas and expanded them into the monumental pieces "Peter's Dream (The Regeneration)" and "Peter's 2nd Dream 1.0 (The Procession)". And finally, in Woodland Hills in 1991, he put together "Cosmic Awakening" and "The Divine Carousel" over the course of several evenings (along with much of the material for Alien Journeys), the variations of Peter's 2nd Dream, the mystical "Awakened Dream" (which blends elements of "Cosmic Awakening" and "Peter's 2nd Dream"), and the tranquil "Ocean of Light." 

An initial electronic-only version was released but the vision was not complete, so the guest artist performances were recorded over the following few years, with contributions from Steve Claps (zither), John Boswell (guitar synthesizer), Stephanie Bennett (harp), Terry Glenney (violin), Robert Martin (cello), Sonia Curtis (vocals), and Rebecca Sattin (flute), whose parts brought the music to its full luster.

This 2018 edition was remixed and remastered from the original multitrack tapes.
